Let me explain.

It’s a common joke that has been circulating around the Philippines since the “battle” on the Cellular Network market dominance in the country has begun – I’m not so sure when. And as common with all jokes, there is a counter statement to that one: “Around the Globe use Smart.”

On this website, we will never attempt to say if that phrase is true or false. We will live it up to you as a user of Smart or Globe or both — or perhaps even better, of other networks as well.

Instead, we will showcase what they have to offer and how you, as a consumer, will benefit from them.

So what’s in the domain name?

Obviously, Smart Communications and Globe Telecom (from now on simply Smart and Globe, respectively) are the two biggest cellular network providers in the country. And then there are the other smaller networks (Sun Cellular, Red Mobile, Talk n Text, and Touch Mobile).

But people love this Smart-Globe dichotomy. And we love this kind of dichotomy as well.

Aside from the fact that it’s so easy to remember, the domain name also speaks on the kind of information you will get from this website.
